Introductory College Consulting Session

This is a one-hour personalized meeting where we evaluate the student’s current stage in the college application or exploration, explain the college selection process, and outline clear next steps. Students and parents leave with a practical action plan and greater confidence in how to begin or refine their college search.

Before the session:

• We will review your form responses to research and prepare for your personalized session.

• Parents and students can do online research to come to the session with ideas about geographic, academic, school size, and social preferences.

During the session:

• Question and answer time to further get to know your student’s current status in their college process (15 minutes).

• Presentation related to where your student is now in the process and what to be doing in the next 6 months (15 minutes).

• Presentation of the most important topics for all college applicants and their families (20 minutes).

• Time dedicated to answering your questions (10 minutes).

After the session:

• You will receive a follow up email with any pertinent links we discussed in the session.

• You will have the option to continue college consulting at a rate commensurate with your student’s needs.
